I had the pleasure of meeting Rose and Gary Mays through my girlfriend Lori in August of 2016. We were looking to purchase a house. The Mays' were tremendous in terms of presenting places for us to build our house. Eventually, we decided on the Promenade at Lake Park. Rose and Gary were with us when we met with the Calatlantic Salesman, Trey Downard. They went the extra mile in negotiations, and the contract was signed on 8/7/16. They were with us at the Design Studio, helping us with the upgrades. Finally, after our house was completed, we were at the Corporate Office for the closing. Rose has been my realtor for many real estate transactions and I would trust no one else! She is professional, so knowledgeable, highly experienced and really looks out for her client. There are many terrible real estate agents out there (we know because they are often on the other end of our transactions) and Rose simply outshines them all. Joan and I were quite fortunate to have Rose Mays as our real estate agent. We discovered that Rose is an experienced and professional real estate agent who has the right attitude and direction to best serve her clients, whose success and satisfaction are her primary concerns. She helped us find the right homesite (by the water) in Cypress Preserve in Land O' Lakes, Florida, the right house, the right contract, and the right additions and extra features that made our home-buying experience so wonderful! Thanks to Rose's influence and advice, I did not select the cheapest home available, which would have made the kitchen the first room one enters from the front door. I did not accept the default ceiling height of 8 feet four inches, but selected a height of nine feet four inches instead for a very reasonable additional cost, and do we ever appreciate the huge difference in the size of our rooms every single day! What a difference her suggestion made! After looking at several lots, Rose also helped me select the best lot available, which has a pond in the back. So nice to have a water view every day...so beautiful. And I really appreciate her help in making selections in the kitchen, from countertop surface to hardware to cupboard molding. Finally, I really appreciated it when Rose showed up at every project milestone, especially at the closing. We were a team when we entered the signing room at the title company. I've enclosed the photo Rose took of Joan and me right after the closing. With signed closing documents in her lap, Joan received the keys to our new home from me. Six weeks later, we're getting settled into our new home and are so happy we made the right choice--thanks to Rose Mays! We are home and we love it!
