Fortner is a force to be reckoned with! We can't recommend Michelle Fortner highly enough! We were brand new to Florida and feeling overwhelmed, but from the very beginning, Michelle was a calm, confident guide through it all. She took the time to educate us on everything, like the differences in the home buying process in Florida, inspection periods, insurance requirements, and always made sure we never felt lost or confused. What truly set her apart, though, was her deep knowledge and persistence in helping us secure an assumable mortgage. This is a pretty rare opportunity, and not only did Michelle know about them, she helped us find a home that offered one, navigated the process with the lender, and guided us through the qualification step by step. It was no small task, and it saved us thousands! She's also an incredible negotiator. When our inspection revealed some repairs that needed to be addressed, she didn't hesitate to go to bat for us. She advocated firmly and professionally to ensure the seller took care of some important issues before closing. She always made us feel like she was putting our best interests first.
