Careers
At Florida Executive Realty, one of our most important goals is to provide a professional level of coaching, training and mentoring that is focused on equipping our agents and management with the skills, attitude, support and resources necessary for sustainable success. We most recently demonstrated our commitment to this goal in 2007 when we opened The Center For Excellence And Business Development as a stand alone training facility and developed a comprehensive series of on going learning opportunities for all who strive for Excellence. What about you?

Coaching For Excellence
This 14 week series will assist any agent (new or experienced) in building (or rebuilding) the proper foundation for a career of significance. The multi-discipline approach covers topics as varied as business planning, client data base management, negotiation theory & professional level sales skills. Woven into all the classes are the technical skills, common sense applications & paradigms needed to insure your success. Call Michelle Weinhold at 813-972-3430 for a current schedule or more info.
Masters Series
 |
These monthly sessions are designed to round out an agent's knowledge of our business and the many resources available to them that bring real value to both our clients and our careers. From advanced computer skills to professional marketing photography to a very popular series about the history of Tampa. Like the Coaching for Excellence series, all of the classes are live presentations by our broker, senior agents or guest speakers. While some of these classes are available on a fee basis for outside agents, they are free to FER agents. |

Mentoring for Excellence
In many offices, it's not unusual for an experienced agent to occasionally help newer agents with suggestions when the opportunity arises. Over the years, Florida Executive Realty has certainly encouraged and supported this kind of agent interaction, by the example of Broker/Management support of all agents as well as attracting and retaining the kind of senior agents who naturally enjoy the opportunity to pass along what works and what doesn't. For many new or inexperienced agents this is helpful, but insufficient.
And while Florida Executive Realty's Coaching for Excellence, Masters Series and Weekly Business Meetings provide superior learning opportunities, the clear need to quickly bring new agents to a functioning knowledge level requires additional and planned "Live Fire" training to be most effective. Our formal Mentoring for Excellence initiative is designed to create mutually beneficial business relationships and learning opportunities by matching experienced & productive agents as Mentors with capable & willing new agents as Protégés.

Weekly Business Meeting
While our Coaching for Excellence and Masters Series are updated regularly, the best way to stay completely current is our weekly Business Meetings. Updates on builder inventory and new listings, mortgage loan rates & programs, new laws and the always popular and educational "stories from contract land" highlight a fast moving hour. One of our newest features is the agent generated monthly update of the Sell-o-Meter and Trend-o-Meter, a real time opinion of market conditions right here, right now. A cup of coffee, a quick snack, and a full slice of "what's really news" gets another week of opportunities off and running.
New Agents
Whether you're just considering taking the state required classes or have a freshly minted license in your pocket, one of your first and most important decisions will be choosing a company that gives you the best chance to succeed. Unfortunately, it's very easy to get focused on the wrong part of the story. If you start out looking for the highest split you can find, your choices are many. However, as a wise man once remarked "A 100% of a small amount of money is still a small amount". Like a well built house, a proper foundation has to come first, therefore a comprehensive training & mentoring program is the best path to success. Now your choices are few. If you want to know more, call Doug Loyd or Michelle Weinhold at 813-972-3430 for an initial interview. We're always looking for people with the "right stuff".
"Since I started at Florida Executive Realty, I have been encouraged to build my knowledge base with as much continuing real estate education as possible. Our company has exceptional training programs. The series' I have attended, so far, are "Coaching for Excellence", and the "Masters" Programs. The courses are motivational, packed with information you can use on a daily basis and open for discussion on "real life" situations from seasoned agents. I also have the advantage of over 60 years cumulative in-house knowledge base, multiple office business meetings throughout the week at one of FOUR branch offices, up-to-date information on the market and variations in buyer/seller properties in subdivisions throughout the Tampa Bay area and beyond. Our affiliation with a global network for relocation also gives me the ability to buy or sell properties for my clients locally, statewide, nationwide or worldwide. After 8 weeks as a new agent, I listed a property in Fort Myers for more than half a million dollars! I am proud to be part of Florida Executive because they provide me with the product knowledge, and the supportive, optimistic and enthusiastic environment that promotes my success." - Judi Beck
Experienced Agents
If you are reading this you probably are sensing that your current situation is something less than a win/win kind of deal. While some brokerage Business Models are decidedly Broker-centric, others brag about being Agent-centric, some seem to exist only to collect as many licenses as possible, while others remain as the "one man band" they started as. Throw in Internet brokers, 3rd party aggregators, and limited service models and you have quite the mix. A wise woman once reminded me "there is a glove for every hand" and this truth may best describe the seemingly endless number of ways there are to slice and dice the income, expenses, effort & liability that is part of any business.
Florida Executive Realty does not strive to be all things to all people. Not the smallest, nor the largest. Simply put, our vision is to earn the repeat business of our clients and the ongoing respect of our competitors & peers while enjoying the benefits of an honestly earned reputation for technical and practical expertise that is built on a foundation of ethical & moral excellence. Our efforts are decidedly Client-centric, with the full belief that to take anything less than a win/win/win approach is a recipe for extinction.
Fair play, team work, shared values and a commitment to excellence creates a synergy that makes the most of the opportunities that are there for all. If you are interested in how the win/win/win can work for you, talk to any of our agents or call Doug Loyd or Michelle Weinhold at 813-972-3430 for a confidential conversation.
"Florida Executive Realty is a quality organization that employs quality real estate agents. What makes agents good at what we do and gives us a competitive advantage is the knowledge we have of the industry. For the new agent, there is a comprehensive training program called Coaching for Excellence designed to equip new or less experienced agents with sound fundamentals. For the more experienced agent, the Master's Series offers courses that go beyond the basics. Some of the long term agents are given the opportunity to teach various sections on the Coaching for Excellence course. One of the things I have learned by doing this is that you learn by teaching. It is a very rewarding and takes my skills to a higher level. Lastly, agents at Florida Executive Realty understand that "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." We realize that, although we compete for business, by sharing and working together, we all benefit." - Pete Radeka
Referral Network
For all the reasons that make real estate a great career choice for some, it just doesn't work for everyone as a full time option. While we do not believe that clients can be properly and consistently served by part time effort, there is a great alternative for those who have earned their license and don't want to waste the effort and expense. With no additional expense or effort other than State required continuing education, you can be part of a classic win/win/win scenario. Simply refer family, friends and others to Florida Executive Realty. They get great service, we get a new client and you get paid a referral fee. Getting that license can still turn out to be a great idea, call for info on how to make it happen.
